WEBBMASON REPORTS RECORD SALES: 2005 Sales Total More Than $65 Million
Hunt Valley, Maryland, January 24, 2006 - WebbMason, the industry's leading print management company, reported sales of more than $65 million for 2005. The final sales total for 2005 represents an increase of 16.3 percent from 2004. Since 2000, WebbMason has experienced an average annual sales increase of 14.2 percent.
WebbMason attributes the increase in sales for 2005 to a number of factors including: the opening of four new sales offices, solid growth among all its 15 offices and an increase in the demand for printed materials.
WebbMason's sales increase is well above the average industry growth predictions for 2005. The Printing Industry of America/Graphics Arts Technology Foundation (PIA/GAFT) predicted 2005 printing industry sales will increase by approximately 3 percent (the actual sales numbers will be released in February 2006).
"We attribute our record sales growth to a shift in the industry that we helped create," said Warner Mason, Webb/Mason President/Co-Founder. "Each year, we welcome a growing number of organizations that are moving away from traditional print purchasing methods and adopting WebbMason's online print management technology - Enterprise Print Management Online. It delivers the ability to manage all of an organizations printing needs online, changing the way clients order print."
WebbMason projects a steady sales increase in 2006. "Our sales goal for 2006 is to grow in a similar fashion to our recent history and we plan to achieve this by opening new offices, hiring new staff and expanding our distribution center in Hunt Valley, MD," said Doug Traxler, WebbMason's Executive VP, Sales and Marketing.
