Hunt Valley, Maryland, May 11, 2006
- Charlotte-South Rotary Club selected Scott Cottrill, Vice President of Sales, Southern Region for WebbMason, as its 2006 Distinguished Rotarian.

“The Distinguished Rotarian award is presented to a member that exemplifies ‘service above self’ in his or her community, business and personal life,” said Charlotte-South Rotary Club President Bonnie Hunter. “Scott has been a member of Charlotte-South Rotary Club for eight years, served as the Charlotte-South Rotary Club service director for two years and was co-chair of the International Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians (IGFR) World Championship Tournament committee. Through these positions, he exemplified his professionalism, courteousness and organizational skills, as well as his ability to build goodwill and better friendships.”

Under Cottrill’s leadership, the IGFR Tournament drew golfers from around the world. His responsibilities included weekly planning, meeting coordination, fundraising, publicity and volunteer management.

Cottrill joined WebbMason in January 1997 and according to Warner Mason, WebbMason President/Co-Founder, Cottrill continues to be an asset to WebbMason and the community. “We are proud of Scott’s accomplishments at Charlotte-South Rotary Club and are honored that he is a member of the WebbMason team,” said Mason.
